Student Technology Showcase

Please note that the first Student Technology Showcase will take place at Somerset Valley Middle School this Saturday the 13th from 10:00 to 3:00. Students will display examples of their projects and show the technology they work with every day. Everyone's invited, it should be a great day!

This is a video created by Robin Sloan and Matt Thompson it is about the near future and what could happen. The video carries a rather serious topic in that it could be possible to have our identity take for the purposes of commercials, and ads on the Internet. They have created the idea that by sending out our information on the web the popular Internet browser "Google" could possibly use that to find out our interests and hobbies and use them for advertising personal products on the web. The video also grasps the topic that "Google" could form with "amazon.com" and take over the internet with up to date news reports.
